Prayers to the Family and Friends.
Everyone please remember that just like Big E, He was doing what He loved to do and lost His time here on earth and is now in Heaven with God.

Tom Hoover is who I was thinking of. Thanks.
Saw the replay of the crash on ESPN. Like the Earnhardt crash, this one didn't look as bad as many others. Didn't look like the car tore apart as much as others either.
Still very sad. More prayers for the friends and family of Darrell Russell.

Prayers for Darrell, Julie, and the Amato team.

I'm sure all of us have seen death come to a loved one or associate creeping on slow feet taking months and months (sometimes years) to end it.
This guy was lucky in that he died quickly doing something he loved dearly.
My condolences and prayers to his family.

When I first joined NASCAR to race a 1987 Malibu at the local factory stock level, I was standing at the wall in turn 2 at Tucson Raceway Park. My first "in the pits" experience, I was excited and proud to be there. A few minutes later a factory stock racer's car hit the wall, HARD. Ten feet from where I was standing. That's when I knew this was serious stuff.
