It would be SOOOoooo nice if they'd just let the Marines go (without restraint) into Fallujah and fix this 'pain in the backside' problem.
Naw, send in Turkish and Pakistani special forces. When my dad was in Korea, he was stationed near a Turkish barracks. When one of the locals tried to pilfer the place, the Turks hung his body on a pole right outside, and
refused to let the local authorities take it down until it fell down on its own :o. No one ever bothered them again.
Plus, that way we don't have to listen to liberals whine about "maltreatment" of prisoners, since it's apparently only "evil" to them when Americans are the ones accused.

I have nooooo confidence in Islamic democractic countries. Turkey stopped the 4th Division from attacking Iraq from the north. And Pakistan refuses to allow our forces to get Osama in Pakistan.
Democracy and Islam cannot coexist.
What we are doing by building up Iraq while not tearing down the mullahs first is like trying to rebuild Germany while keeping the Nazis in control and the ovens baking.
June 30 will be the day it all goes down hill because then our military will have to listen to the Iraqi Government when the complain of toooo many civilian casualties.
Either fight this war with everything you got or get everything you got out.
