And how many people read European newspapers in the US. Close to nil.
Whew you are doing your own moore spinning aren't you.
Oh well moore wastes his money spendthriftly, considering your posts on this thread.
Ah, I see we have a selection of people that can't read.
If I were to point out that porn is a multi-billion dollar business and extremely profitable, does that mean I'm in favor of porn?
My point is that, from a purely financial and box-office standpoint, 911 is wildly successful. That has nothing to do with the fact that 911 is a worthless sack of s*** and lies.
And attempting to spin it as some sort of financial or box office failure simply makes people look silly and incapable of objective analysis.
It's already making a profit and for the category of film it is, it's success is virtually unprecedented.
99% of all movies have a rapid decline in box office after the opening weekend (even many successful ones.) 911 is likely to have a rapid decline, but that won't be any evidence that it's a "failure" or that somehow it's been "defeated."
I personally think GWB will win by a mild landslide in November. Whether he's re-elected or not won't be the measure of whether 911 was a financial success; it is already.
It will never make the money Passion of the Christ did, of course. Is every single film that makes less money than Passion a failure, now?
And if people are moronic enough to start picketing or blockading theaters, no doubt 911 will be even more successful thanks to the additional free publicity.
i have read the posts about this movie with great interest. can we start a conversation about the points that people say are lies?
