Clinton apparently has a neurotic need for continual self-affirmation through public media displays. My guess would be the Reagan farewell was too much for him and he jumped on camera to try to steal the show, confused that no one (except grape Kool-Aid liberal zombies)wanted to see him again.

Actually, I think the book stuff and the whole media frenzy was planned before Regan's death. That must of infuriated Bill though to know that a dead conservative got more respect than he did.
