I am surprised this kind of incident doesn't happen more often. A .50 caliber MG is still considered small arms but man can it do some damage.

you are just spreading hype.
at 10,000 feet is just a small bullet hole, unless it passes thru a person and that person is you.
It would be million to one shot that a single 50 cal bullet would bring down a plane at 10000 feet.

A .50 caliber MG is still considered small arms but man can it do some damage. Depends on where and what it hits. Capt Kim Campbell brought this Warthog home even with the damage shown in the photo.
