A lot of people on this thread are approaching this from the perspective that it might be a bad idea for the EU. If you ask me, I'd say it would be a bad idea for Turkey.

Either way, it's fascinating that Bush is even promoting the EU at all. Gives a little foretaste of what he has in mind for America and the FTAA.

No, but they rely on road and rail transport mostly to cart goods -- just like we do in the US. Congo and the Sudan are silly nations to name

One more reason for bailing on the mainstream parties this year. Actually, one of the PRIMARY reasons to do so.
