Just this week, the defense bill was amended to include the "hate Crimes" bill passed in the Senate on a vote of 97-0.
That means the next step for this legislation is the House, and it’s imperative that Christians contact their representatives urging them not to support such legislation.
The House defense authorization bill is H.R. 4200. Make sure your representative knows that you do not support hate crimes amendment to H.R. 4200.
TWO VITAL ACTIONS ARE NECESSARY:
(1) Contact your Representative at the Capitol Switchboard: 202-224-3121
(2) Contact House Majority Leader Tom DeLay, urging him not to allow this legislation to come to a vote. This legislation cannot move without his permission.

Liz, where is the text of this legislation. In checking the Bill in THOMAS, I'm not finding the text that relates to the actions that you are referring to.
As far as I can see, HR 4200 relates primarily to military matters.
