Kerry Spokesperson Calls on Bush to Apologize for Using Images of Hitler on Website

WASHINGTON, June 25 /U.S. Newswire/ -- Kerry campaign spokesperson Phil Singer issued the following statement in response to the Internet ad on George Bushs website featuring images of Adolph Hitler: The fact that George Bush thinks its appropriate to use images of Adolph Hitler in his campaign raises serious questions about his fitness to spend another four years in the White House. Adolph Hitler slaughtered millions of innocent people and has no place in a campaign that is supposed to be about the future and hope of this nation. The Presidents use of these images during a month that evoked the memory of World War II is remarkably insensitive to the sacrifices of the millions of people who lost their lives during Hitlers reign of terror.

The Bush Campaign should immediately remove these hateful images from its website and apologize for using them. The use of Adolph Hitler by any campaign, politician or party is simply wrong.

This is coming for the campaign that has a morphed American flag on their website; half American Flag and half Gay Pride Flag? If you don't believe it, just go to Kerry's website, click on communities and then click on "glbt" the page for gay, lesbian, bi-sexual, and transgender; you will see the flag. And they're complaining about The Prez website?

So, to quote Ronald Reagan: AW SHUT UP!!!!!

Oh! So Kerry's people object to him showing what Kerry's supporters put together? I get it!

So, Mr. Kerry - are you claiming copyright on that Hitler sequence? Family clip, perhaps?

Hell, look at photos of any anti-war march and you will find Hitler images, swastikas and references to Nazis

What are they talking about?

The "Coalition of the Wild-Eye" ads run by Bush.

The ad contains a scene from a Moveon.org CAMPAIGN AD FOR KERRY, which compares Bush to Hitler.

If you haven't seen the ad, go to http://www.georgewbush.com and click on the green circle that says "watch."

No kidding! This is outrageous. They are using and anti-Bush clip done in the WORST taste that was never objected to by the Kerry campaign to bash Bush, but since the GOP has simply "Profiled" it as such, they call for an apology? This is just too funny! What a bunch of cry baby whiners running home to mommy.

they think of Hitler as their own!

They should. Nazis were National Socialists. It was their official name.

How this left-wing party became a euphemism for extreme conservatives is a case study in disinformation.

I'm surprised Kerry isn't decrying the use of the phrase "kick your a**" in the ad.

Cheney might have a couple of words to say on that. And they would be appropriate.

Ha, note the bad grammer in their press release "The Presidents use of these images...". They need to read that book - "Eats, Shoots, and Leaves" - learn about punchuation.

Just like it's wrong for the Bush campaign to show pictures of or mention 9/11; but it's OK for the Democrat national leadership to attend the opening of Fahrenheit 9/11 and promote the movie.

The video criticizes the Kerry campaign for comparing Bush to the brownshirts, and uses their own rhetoric against them. Moveon.org uses the Nazi imagery. Double-standard alert!
