Here is the real story behind Dick Cheney's use of the 'F' word to the two-faced back-stabber Patrick Leahy:Leahy was attacking Cheney's credibility over the Halliburton contracts awarded in Iraq. Cheney was the CEO of Halliburton before he accepted the VP position with Bush. Cheney resigned from the company and put his assets in a blind trust. He totally severed his interests with the company. Leahy was saying that Cheney was responsible for giving those contracts to Halliburton.

Democrats want Cheney-Halliburton probe
Republicans dismiss questions about contract

WASHINGTON (CNN) -- A Democratic senator Tuesday called for a congressional investigation into whether Vice President Dick Cheney had a role in awarding a no-bid contract in Iraq to his old company, the oil-services giant Halliburton.
"It's a legitimate question," said Sen. Patrick Leahy, the ranking Democrat on the Senate Judiciary Committee. "It raises the real question, can the American people trust their government to do the right thing? We have very real rules here."
Cheney's office has said repeatedly that the vice president has no role in government contracting and has severed all financial ties with the Texas-based Halliburton.
Vice President Dick Cheney was chief executive officer of Halliburton before he became George Bush's running mate.
Meek here again:
Then, after accusing Cheney of this BS above, Patrick Leahy went up to Cheney during the Senate photo session this week acting like he was Cheney's good friend and all that. Leahy has a reputation of doing this in the Senate (from what I've heard) and Cheney called him on it. I can't blame Cheney in the least. Leahy calls for an investigation of Cheney and then acts like nothing happened?? Sheesh. What a two-face backstabbing arse. I'm glad Cheney told Leahy to bug off !!
I think the dems are scared that anyone, including the boyish John Edwards, that JF'nK choses for Veep will become instant mincemeat in the VP debate against Cheney, the King of Gravitas. So they will try anything to get rid of him before then. The Pres. would be a moron to oblige them.
See what Hatch is up to with DRM and run down the type of legislation he has been in favor of... also check his behaviour during the Clinton years.
What's DRM ? I have followed his behavior during the Clinton years and it appears to be OK, except for his inexplicable support for that RAT, Kennedy, for whice he has repented. Hatch votes with the Party almost all of the time. Tell me if you will, about his supposed relationship with Leahy.
Recall if you will that Clinton was floating a trial ballon during his Presidency of nominating Hatch to the Supreme Court when it looked like there might be a vacancy...
OK, so you loath Hatch. Nothing I can do about that, but he is a Republican and votes that way. That's a big plus as there are Pubbies that do not. As for having connections with othr companies, they all do. As for believing anything the First Felon ever said, including the "trial balloon" about the SC, I believe nothing he ever said, especially about Pubbies and a SC appointment would never have happened.
Thanks for telling it as it is, Meek. I've been irritated since yesterday because all they talk about is what Cheney said, and never explain the whole thing!!
Thank you, Potlatch. :^)Yeah, the media wouldn't want to report the truth, now, would they ? Heaven
knows that would damage the side that's trying to tear this country down.
I'd give you my 'home-made' potlatch, multiplying rat BUMP but it might be too much for you to bear, LOL.
hehe ! Hey ! Go ahead. Post it to me. "I can handle it", no problem.:^D
Oh. hehe ! Yeah, I saw that yesterday or today.I didn't know you were talkin' about that one. :^D
ok
