Home Depot is great. Too bad so much of their hardware is made in China.

What sort of hardware? My choices for a chainsaw were U.S. or Mexico, and all its extension-ladders were made in the U.S.

Look closely at the smaller low tech hardware items at Home Depot like light fixtures, trowels, hinge sets, paint brushes, wheels. I had a hard time finding Made in USA items, and had to settle for a few Chicom bits. I like the Home Depot, just wish I didn't have to settle for Chinese products so often. The Container Store is the same way, nice place that treats their employees well but way too much of their stuff is imported from China.
