I must disagree with the idea that Mr. Gore's rantings are "pure comedy." This man came very close to being president. His party still regards him as a major leader. They do not repudiate his comments. No, this is serious as a heart attack.
Gore is simply another Democratic bigwig who, unlike the others, has nothing left to lose and therefore articulates the party's true position more clearly and candidly than Frog, Daschle, et al.
I think so .. but I haven't really paid attention - I just switch channels when he comes on. Gore's not running for office, and they give him more time than they give the President .. disgusting!
Also .. on Brit's show, they played a video of Gore and Clinton together at some kind of townhall meeting .. and Gore was saying THE EXACT OPPOSITE OF WHAT HE SAID IN HIS RECENT SPEECH. Mara and Juan tried to spin it, but Brit and Fred Barnes tore it all apart.
He accuses Bush of an ornate plan of Machiavellism that, in the past, they've claim Bush isn't smart enough to develop. As you listen to Gore, try to remember it is Bush he's talking about.
The other thing that struck me is that Gore is so adamant about there being no connection between 9-11/Osama and Saddam/Iraq, a proposition Gore can't possibly KNOW, didn't exist that he, too, must have gotten some of Saddam's oil voucher cash. Gore knows that if a good investigation was done on this connection it would reveal that Willie/Gore got cash from Saddam in return for not zapping Osama.
The dems must keep honest folks from this issue because it will prove that they caused 9-11, profited by it abd, certainly, could have prevented it. These guys are not only trying to make Bush look bad, they are fighting for their lives!
LOL. Same here. I've developed a lightning fast grab-the-remote-it's-Gore reflex.
George W. Bush will be reelected by a margin of at least ten per cent
Nice to see the RNC grew a pair on this issue but there is still one more day left in the week and they are bound to f**k it up as usual.
"Wild ass crazy man. Man did we as a great country dodge a bullet. Something you would expect from someone who grew up in a hotel, has never held a job, and showers 5 times a day. Simply crazy and thank God for the electoral college, our founding fathers were brilliant.""
Wow...great response
Gore rhymes with with bore, and maybe whore, and one thing more, as a loser he's poor, and also sore. Who knows what for. And one thing more--he ain't coming back no more.
That's for sure.
An interesting note about Clinton's book - turns out the whole "couch" story was made up so that he could include tidbits ala "that was when I was thinking about going after UBL" such that they could create some news about the supposed couch story and get people to turn to the pages where he then tries to cover up for himself on terrorism.
What couch story?
He claims, in the book, that he had to sleep on a couch for a long period of time after he revealed to Hillary that he had indeed been physically involved with Monica Lewinsky.
'Cause you know, there was no other bed available to the President of the United States, other than the one The Great Beast was sleeping in. (Uh huh.)
Oh, THAT couch story. Weren't they in separate bedrooms by that time anyway?
My hunch is that all the other beds were being rented out to campaign contributors.
Me Toooo!! In fact I have this great switch button on my remot where I only have to hit one button and I get instantly switched to another station. It's great when you just can't stand the screeching liberals anymore.
I really have no idea...but you'd think that the POTUS could work something out so he wouldn't have to sleep on a couch.
Or, he's lying.
(Eenie, meenie...)
Well yeah, there's that. : )
TRIXPOTUS lie?
Shirley, you jest!
I think Dan Rather told me he was an honest man...so on second thought, I take it all back. It was a couch. A terribly uncomfortable couch. And the President of the United States of America had no choice but to sleep on it. And we're talkin' months of this. I mean, what else could he do?
