Bravo!
"Luckily, Democrats, like me, have a decisive leader that we can support. It just happens that he is a Republican."
Is this guy taking a political risk in supporting Bush? I thought Santa Fe is a typical leftist artisty town.

I like it. I like it. Hmmm, don't think I'll see this on network news tonight.
New Mexico, excluding Santa Fe, is more independent than one party or the other. In 2000, the state went for Bush by a slight margin, then . . . someone "discovered" a bundle of ballots in Socorro and, yep, turned out be 600 for Gore, enough to give the state to the Dems.
Santa Fe, as you say, is artsy-lefty painfully PC, so his declaration is bold and daring. Good for him!!
"Luckily, Democrats, like me, have a decisive leader that we can support. It just happens that he is a Republican."
Classic line......Bravo for another Patriot!!!!!!!
'Tis one more reason not to watch it (evening news). All the news I need, I get here at FR. Most importantly, I get the Freepers' reaction to the news.
Not condemning you, I totally agree with you. Zell Miller/David Pfeffer Double Democrat crossover PING!!!
Welcome news!
I wonder if the Councilor Pfeffer voted for Fanta Se's living wage ordinance. The City Different is one of the most anti-business spots in the nation.
Be still my heart. I didn't know we had ANY intelligent RATS in NM. This is amazing. :-)
Yes, he's probably taking a political risk, but I guess he;s counted the cost, and would rather be safe than a Democrat. Santa Fe, is a real lefty haven.
Sometimes it just boils down to what is right.
Never mind... reading comprehension would help me.
That site is Santa Fe, Texas, so duh
Bio:
"Councilor David Pfeffer represents Santa Fe City Council, District 1. He was elected to the Governing Body in March 2002 and is currently serving his first four year term.
"Councilor Pfeffer has a long and dedicated history of public service to his community and to his country. He is a Vietnam Veteran and is a life member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars and the Military Order of the Purple Heart. With his leadership and through his community advocacy the path was established to construct two of Santa Fe's best known facilities: St. Elizabeth's Shelter for the Homeless and The Ice Rink at the Genoveva Chavez Community Center.
"Councilor Pfeffer is a member of the city's Public Works Committee and Extraterritorial Zoning Authority and continues to be actively involved in many community events."
Can I have an Amen??? Or a major PING??????
Be still my heart. I didn't know we had ANY intelligent RATS in NM. This is amazing. :-)
