WASHINGTON (CNN) -- Typically a break from partisan warfare, this year's Senate class photo turned smiles into snarls as Vice President Dick Cheney reportedly used a profanity toward one senior Democrat, sources said.
Sen. Patrick Leahy of Vermont, who was on the receiving end of Cheney's ire, confirmed that the Vice President used profanity during Tuesday's class photo.

And Leahy was shocked - indeed.
To: Happy2BMe
said Leahy, "and I was kind of shocked to hear that kind of language on the floor."
Wonder if he was shocked, while standing right behind the buffoon, to hear the kind of language Ted Kennedy was spewing yesterday.

Why would they hide the comment about what Cheney said to Leahy's being a bad Catholic...If he had been a Christian, now, they would have HEADLINED that statement!
To: Happy2BMe
I hope this is an foreshadowing that the "new tone" policy has ended.

Cheney, who as president of the Senate was present for the picture day, turned to Leahy and scolded the senator over his recent criticism of the vice president for Halliburton's alleged war profiteering. Responding to Cheney's comment, Leahy reminded him of an earlier statement the vice president had made about him. Cheney then replied with profanity.
Well...the Veep scolds the Senator. The Senator says something that is certainly not very nice to the Veep. And the Veep tells the Senator to perform an unnatural act on himself. Of course, we'll never know what the Senator said, because we all know he'd never say anything nasty or unkind on the floor of the Senate, right?
Right.

"I think he was just having a bad day," said Leahy, "and I was kind of shocked to hear that kind of language on the floor."I'm just shocked, shocked!
This is a no-call, in my book. Leahy is a partisan shmuck, AND Halliburton has gouged the taxpayers in Iraq. (And of course, having their former CEO in the White House is a factor in them getting no-bids, duh!) A plague on both their houses.

CNN: "Cheney started it!"
I don't believe for a moment that Cheney just out of the clear blue sky started berating Leahy.
CNN omits any mention of any previous remarks by Leahy for a good [ to them] reason IMHO.

Psychotics. These people are UN-believable.

Don't forget Halliburton has been the contractor of choice long before Cheney became VP.
