Nice knowing you. Of course, is it any different for you? You backed down rather than continue the argument by providing facts.

You were the one who brought up the argument that this pagan translation was right in using the term "dip" instead of "baptize" (which is easily chalked up to the man's being a former Baptist minister). Strong's Concordance has a Greek section that notes "baptizo" means "to wash," which is how other translations have rendered it when they have gone away from the "copout"--as you put it--transliteration of 'baptize' (New Living Translation and KJV in Lk. 7:44, for example).
