That's true, but it does not mean we go to sleep on the most basic rudiments of self defense. Everything which can be done to protect America and American interests must be done and IMMEDIATELY. When the coalition is out of Iraq, the place will implode, there is not much Americans can do except to make a positive reinforcement of all the RIGHT moves of the Iraqi government and for so long as the 'Iraqi government' is in place. Once, and the instant it appears they are not committed to a positive direction or that they demonstrate any duplicity....bam, we pull the plug on them. This should be CLEAR AND PARAMOUNT to ANY future arrangements between the coalition and Iraq. They MUST understand up front that they are not getting it both ways.

So you're accusing our military commanders in Iraq of neglecting force protection? That's quite arrogant, not to mention misinformed.
