REAGAN: Yes. I mean, we've had all these awful pictures from the prison in Iraq and these sort of memos floating around about justifying torture, all this kind of stuff. And it makes you want to take a shower, you know? And now here's this guy who made you feel good about yourself. Made you feel good about your country. And you thought, he's -- this is a standup guy. When we were in Washington driving along the first day, I looked out at the crowd and there was somebody holding a sign, a picture of him, and the words said "Now there was a president." And that's, you know.

I would swear I saw a FReeper make a post about having this very sign at the ceremonies in DC, and people in the crowd wanting to pose for pictures with it. Do y'all know who it was? They might like to know that it was indeed seen by the family (even if Ron the ~~Lesser~~ Younger is choosing to put his own spin on it -- heck, perhaps they'd like to clarify to Ron what they meant by it!).

He's a little fag, plain and simple. His Dad knew it, the whole nation knew it. The wife's a beard or something. I don't know. But to hear him talk now...he is clearly still as gay as he was when he was prancing around with the Joffrey ballet!

BufordP made the sign. It was magnificent and the various members of the police departments present at 15th and Constitution asked BufordP if they could have their pictures taken with the sign. It was indeed front and center when the caisson and rest of the funeral procession passed by and we know Nancy Reagan could see it from the car.

BufordP's sign is a remake from the one he held at the March for Justice rally on October 31, 1998 when FReepers and lurkers from all over America came to DC to support the impeachment of Bill Clinton.
