Sometimes I find her irritating, but that book that came out earlier this year, "The Proper Care and Feeding of Husbands" should apply it to our sons too. We are companions to each other. We need treat men better, if we want in tact families. I am as guilty as the next woman when it comes to that.
I find the title of the book "The Proper Care and Feeding of Husbands" downright insulting. It lowers man to the level of an animal, and some men are not quite as shallow, and simple as Dr Laura apparently thinks. I could only love a woman who respects me, and does things for me out of love instead of being manipululative, and controlling which is problably why I am still single. This book sounds like a feminist's guide on how to pretend to be a good wife.
