But, Christians will never "voluntarily cease attempts to convert" anyone. Christians have been given an order by God. It's called the Great Commission and, until the end of the age, it is a prime directive recognized by all forms of Christianity (except the Primitive Baptists and other sects who are hard-core predestination types). Therefore, coercion would be the only choice to end attempts of conversion.
A simple "yes" or "no" should suffice. Just like I say to the JWs, Mormons, Moonies and Amway salesmen who cross my path from time-to-time. They don't offend me. They don't anger me. They don't threaten me. Life's too short.

I agree with you. My point was that this isn’t a “Jewish” issue, rather a liberal vs conservative one. Aztlan is a perfect example, they’re rabidly anti-Semitic, have had decades long associations with Arafat, and they’re Christians (if they’re anything). The article makes some good points, but the titles are silly. The immigration issue isn’t about “Jews welcoming Muslims” or “Why Jews Welcome Muslims”, rather about liberals (most of whom aren’t Jewish) promoting open and even illegal immigration. And the threat of unassimilated immigration isn’t to Jews, as you note it’s to American culture. Defining the issue as why are the Jews letting the Muslims in completely misses the point.
This is antagonistic, and unwise.

My post was not meant to bash Catholics but to point out how Jews see Catholic history as all Christianity and that is not the reality and that the freedoms of this country descend from our past Protestant faith, thus taking Christianity out of society they run into more danger of their freedoms than leaving it alone. Not to mention that it is only the Christians here in America that are their friends. Just look at the nonreligious left and their hatred for Israel.
I also realize that the Mid -Evil Catholic Church, that was not following the Bible, is not the Catholic Church of today. My point to him was to dig deeper into the reasons for what happened in Christianity 400 years ago and why are the different today.
Somewhere we need to find a happy medium.
I respectfully suggest that the interpretation of doctrine that suggests that Jews, being necessary for the End of Days that Christianity envisions; and having their own, separate, Covenant with God; the difference of the Covenants each people has established with God be recognized as God's will and thus not to be tampered with by man.

No, you see I have trained my children well in their faith.
BTW one of my children's best friend, who is Jewish, has for the last 2 years been trying to destroy my son's faith in Christ by throwing at him every Jewish scholars thoughts on every little detail that they think disproves Christianity.It is some kind of personal crusade he has against Christianity.
It made my son have to do some homework, but it has made his faith stronger because there has been an answer to every thing that has been thrown at him, which of course the Jewish boy when he looses the argument says "I guess we will have to agree to disagree" then tries to come up with something different to throw at him. While he was an annoyance at first to all of his Christian friends he has now become ignored because somebody had the courage to do the study and answer him.

My proposal is that Christians follow their religion and Jews follow theirs.
Then they would no longer be fulfilling their call to spread the Gospel of Christ. So you can be happy they should stop fulfilling their faith, when just saying no works as well. I do not think that is a good idea in the least. Why not just become stronger in your faith if hearing somebody tell you about Jesus is that much of a threat. So much for the freedom of speech. Now I find that scary.
WHY??? when just telling the person to bug off works as well and does not require Christians to abandon their faith so you can be happy.
I'm afraid you have inferred a connotation that was not intended (I happen to be fervently anti-ADL myself, btw). I was simply pointing out the natural, hostile, reaction to an alien belief system being preached to your community.
