Post that joke that was around last year under their joke forum (just for fun). The one where the son asks the father" What is Islam?" at the end. But I can't remember the beginning of the joke.
And Tonight on Al-Jizzera
How to make friends among infidel Asians.
A companion piece to our very popular,
How to make friends with western infidel apes and monkeys.
Comes on right after, All in the Islamic family or else!
South Korean troops serving in the Vietnam War were highly respected as serious hardcases. I'd love to see a Korean division let loose to pacify Fallujah
Saddam Hussein phoned President Bush and said, "George, I called you because I had this incredible dream last night. I could see all of America, and it was beautiful and on top of every building, there was a beautiful banner." Bush asked, "What was on the banner?" Saddam responded, "It said Allah is God, and God is Allah." Bush said, "You know, Saddam, I'm really glad you called, because last night I had a dream too. I could see all of Baghdad, and it was even more beautiful than before the war. It had been completely rebuilt, and on every building there was also a beautiful banner." Saddam said, "What was on the banner?" Bush replied, "I really don't know. I don't read Hebrew."
Ah, the concept of "face," an extremely ancient and strong trait in several east Asian cultures. If the majority of South Koreans share the same sense of loss of "face" as this person, it will become a powerful force in their politics.
Anti-war rally those fools should know that burning posters is an empty act. If they are really outraged, they need to double or triple their military commitment to the war on terror, not withdraw from it.
Yeah, but they are still "anti-war." Well, aren't we all, but that doesn't stop many of us from getting the point that sometimes war is the only answer.
Not so much that as the victim was not an American or a Jew, which puts the lie to the jihadist claims that they're only trying to get The Great Satan out of the Middle East and the Israelis out of Palestine.
>>The terrorists have awakened yet another sleeping giant.<<
So, the 20th century began with a bit of nastyness after Archduke Franz Ferdinands murder. Will the 21st century remember Kim Seon-il similarly?
We have a large Korean community here in Los Angeles. Our local media has shown footage of around 200 mourners who gathered for a candlelight vigil late yesterday. Most of the people were quiet and tearful. A few were interviewed, and most blamed the terrorists and/or talked about the young man who was slaughtered. However, a small minority were anti-war. So Channel 5 found a nasty anti-Bush sign and lingered on it for several precious TV seconds.
AmericanInTokyo: What's the view today from where you are?
Not quite yet. They haven't bothered the French, Germans, Belgians, and other Euro-weenies that side with France, nor the Canadians, the Chinese, Latin America, and New Zealand. But that's only because they haven't gotten around to it yet.
Yeah, it was true. Their own government arrested some of them when they got back to Japan.
Looks like some signs are repeating a quote from the young man's mother: "The government killed my son." Did she actually say that, or are the protestors using what I'll politely call hyperbole?
Great one assuming I'm catching your double entendre as intended.
I sure hope you're right.
I'm glad So Korea has figured out that the terrorists are animals who have to be eliminated.
I think you are right. The PC crowd is reaching a point where this is going to become what old Osama wants--a War between us and them. These acts are so horrible that even if Kerry is elected we will have to send troops and fight. Failure to act will infurate the people to a point he will be pulled from the White House my angry Mobs if he fails to act. Not all Americans are Ball less Sheep. There is an undercurrent of rage surging within the nation. The terrorists are sowing the wind and they will reep the whirlwind.
We have a winner!
I wish them good hunting,
Do not forget, there are devils in human form living in other parts of the world.
The best way to end war and ensure peace is to kill the enemy.
