I saw Benjamin Netanyahu on Charlie Rose the other night; it was taped on 6/21/2004. He was talking about the rejuevenation of the Israeli economy by free market reforms. He argued simply and directly that the Arab world is using the Palestinian issue in an attempt to obliterate Israel. He spoke of a brighter future when Arabs wouldn't think on Israel's destruction and how peace could come after that.
I immediately thought about Naomi Ragen and wondered what she had been writing lately. Enjoy.

The other interesting thing I saw on Charlie last night was Elie Weisel in a panel on antisemitism. He said that if the world hadn't learned about hate from Auschwitz that it never would. It made me realize that fighting for survival is the only choice a nation like Israel has today.

"God Bless the Jewish people, the People of Israel. May He heal our wounds, and dry the tears from all faces."
The realities of life's pain and suffering have come home to the People of Israel for too long. I add my voice to Naomi's prayer.
Thank you risk, for the sharing. . .
