Wecht is not going to testify for the defense. Doesn't that make you wonder what he knows that he won't testify for the defense attorney who is paying him?
The excused juror remembers everything Geragos says and so far nothing of the prosecution's case. #199 and you are correct, Lee and Wecht were hired by defense.
Maybe he got a better offer? I think this guy is probably guilty, but I sure am troubled by this trial by public opinion stuff. Maybe we should just let the news stories have a couple weeks to push their point, then put up a web page and let us all vote.
My self I prefer a little physical proof. Unless a dog can lead me to a body, or some other personal evidence that ties to the person, I have little faith on the dog's ability to tell me where someone may or may not have been, based on a handlers feelings.
