That is the only way we could possibly save the US soldier and other hostages that haven't been found yet, if they are still alive. We need to get tough. We don't negotiate, but we could sure send a message with a death penalty on those we are holding. As far as I'm concerned, there is no reason for the US to uphold the Geneva Convention. I say we treat the prisoners we hold like they treat ours. They want to save the lives of others like the beheadings that are the rage right now, the Afghans have got the perfect response.

We should uphold the Geneva Convention but only as it is written - It pertains only to soldiers, uniformed, representing a government, openly armed. These religion of peaceniks are not covered by GC. It's only the dogooders that shout about that.
