Really, it's among the most humane ways to kill someone, as well as economical. Done cleanly, blood loss from the brain causes fainting in just a couple seconds. And all that is needed is a knife and a smooth rock or crockery with which to sharpen it. Particularly sensible for the economically disadvantaged. And look, I haven't even made any puns that I know of.
Of course, the way that the Islamokazis are doing it is anything but humane. Oh well; guess they need a lesson or a thousand on how to do it right (to be continued until they stop <expletive deleted>ing with us.
"Done cleanly" is the key phrase in that sentence. The guillotine was claimed by the French to be a humane method of execution. AFAIK no victim of it's blade ever came back to verify that claim, but it seems reasonable enough since it apparently dealt a quick and "cleanly done" death, to use your words.
But the muslim terrorists don't have access to a guillotine, and would not use one if they did. If you were unfortunate enough to see the video of the Berg beheading you must know that the murdering swine made sure that the poor man suffered exquisitely before he died. I haven't seen, nor do I intend to see, the videos of the two latest beheadings, but my guess is that those hapless victims were slaughtered in the same hideous manner as Mr. Berg.
IMHO, there is no punishment this side of the white-hot gates of hell itself severe enough for the inhuman devils who committed those atrocities. A religion of peace Mr. President? How about a religion of Satan? That name fits much better.
