CAIRO, Egypt - An Iraqi militant group has beheaded its South Korean hostage, Al-Jazeera television reported Tuesday.

The pan-Arab station said it had received a videotape showing that Kim Sun-il had been executed.

Kim, 33, worked for a South Korean company supplying the U.S. military in Iraq (news - web sites) and was abducted last week, according to the South Korean government.

Al-Jazeera, which had not broadcast the tape, said the execution was carried out by the al-Qaida-linked group Monotheism and Jihad.

Why do they insist on calling these terrorist bastards Iraqis? They are Al Qaeda terrorists and should not be called Iraqi militants.

I think the backlash is building and I feel the need to be part of it.

Quite obviously, because it was intended for US consumption, not Korean consumption. Affecting US opinion is the only thing they really care about.

You are absolutely right! This is intended to help Kerry defeat Bush. Unfortunately the unwashed masses here will probably buy into this BIGTIME! The RATS stay quiet while Bush sinks.

And, the media can't pin the beheading of a South Korean on Abu Gharib.

It could have been worse. They could have put a panty on his head like American's do their captives.

I am most likely bucking for a banning by saying what has to be said. I wonder how soon the backlash will come and what it will be.

note to police/government lurkers: I have no guns, nor plans for violence.

Hmmm ... maybe Reverend Moon will call for a Korean Crusade.

Talk about justice.

Yes. I think it's time we launch a crusade against these animals.

God have mercy on the soul of this young man. And God comfort his family in their tremendous loss and sorrow. I hope the Koreans decide to send in more troops and I hope they administer their own unique kind of justice on these animals and anybody else who helped them/hid them/etc.

What is holding us back?

The November election. Nothing else could explain it.

It helps to remember in each of these cases:

They don't really want to bargain.

They want to play your emotions. I thought the "news" that he was still alive this morning was cruel. It seems I was right.

The media is their machine, now. They will hammer at us with their best weapon: emotional sabotage.

Lastly: they kill their prisoners right away, or whenever it suits them. That way, they don't draw unwanted community attention to themselves, and can handle their ploy with minimal stress.

The only way to stop it is to take out Al-jazeera.

Don't the Moonies control the Washington Times? If so, I'd expect them to go ballistic on the islamunists.

Who do you nuke? You can't just drop a bomb in Riyadh, and kill the entire population for the acts of less than 1%. Remember, the Lord would spare a city if only for 10 good people?

I think this is the true underpinning of Bush's foreign doctrine. If you harbor, or abet, terrorists within your country, you will be a target. Saddam was, and now he is gone. The problem is, what do you do with Saudi Arabia?

I feel terribly bad for this young man, with the only consolation that he was a devout Christian, and has gone on to his eternal reward. We all would like to unload every type of magazine (weaponry) available, it is just impossivle to direct it at the right target.

If only John Kerry were President, we could report them to Kofi Annan over at the UN - that would show them. </dripping sarcasm>

I read somewhere he was an interpreter so one could imagine him speaking in English as he pleads for his life, esp if he is with other hostages of European/US origin.

May God bless his soul and I pray an angel was there with him during this disgusting killing -- to take away his fear and show him the light of God.

I am soo sick of these terrorists, I am not sure I can even stomach revenge, per say. I just want them gone. How bad is that? I just want the ME to have a do-over.. maybe in the form of glass and I'd rather be worried about if we did the right thing by nuking some of their cities and knowing we're a bit safer -- then again unless they are completely wiped out we're still at risk.. and that's a lot of nukes .. and don't think they wouldn't retaliate.. they would and we'd see Iran and N Korea nuking us.. I guarentee.

Sorry for my rant. My heart hurts from this killing. I actually cried yesterday when I heard hannity's recording of the hostage's pleas. I had to stop and pray for him and it made it real for me. More real then Johnson and Berg's murder.. it reasonated--- I am out of patience.

I want to end this merry go round with them (terrorists) and i don't mean we should leave with our heads down.. I think we need to play along, bide time, turn over more to Iraqis' -- be there to help them etc etc.. but we need to get our shit together here at home b/c I truly beleive this could happen here. We're all sitting ducks for this type of terror.

I can just imagine how the assclowns at al jazeera get exited when they get their rotten hands on another bloody videotape. They should be bombed off the face of the earth for cooperating with and aiding the terrorists. Dish Network is the USA distributor of al jazeera propaganda.
