Those to whom you refer might take heart in the fact that I find the phenomenon of anti-semitism to be very upsetting, having stood with a dear friend a few years back in Queens -- on his Passover and my Easter Sunday -- at the hospital bed of his wife who died in his arms while still bearing a number tatoo from her time in the camp at Lyon.

Sorry if my way of dealing with that memory is not to their liking....

As do I, and that is one reason I find it utterly abhorrent and disgusting for the anti-semite charge to be used to win an argument. I go on the attack when I read that kind of charge thrown out flippantly.
