Pizza the Hut strikes again.
This walking puddle of galloping diarrhea makes me ashamed to be a human being.

"I never quite know whether Moore is as ignorant as he looks, or even if that would be humanly possible."
Truer words were never written. There is nothing in this world quite as joyful as seeing a hard-core leftist tell a fat Marxist slob to go f%@# himself, and to do it with flair and erudition. Mr. Hitchens, you loveable leftie, we salute you.
To: longshadow
Leftie though he is, I've always liked Hitchens. He has potential.

".........The majority of pacifists either belong to obscure religious sects or are simply humanitarians who object to taking life and prefer not to follow their thoughts beyond that point. But there is a minority of intellectual pacifists, whose real though unacknowledged motive appears to be hatred of western democracy and admiration for totalitarianism. Pacifist propaganda usually boils down to saying that one side is as bad as the other, but if one looks closely at the writing of the younger intellectual pacifists, one finds that they do not by any means express impartial disapproval but are directed almost entirely against Britain and the United States..........."
From Orwell's Notes on Nationalism (May 1945)
The lesson here is NEVER try and BS someone who knows a subject better than you, and Hitch DOES know Orwell............cold!

Blow-by-blow: The article was quoted and Hitch got 3 minutes to restate many of the points therein.
Next, counterpoint guest Michael Greenberg (Co-Author 'The Book on Bush'{?} and Founder of 'New Democracy Project'{?}) says "Michael Moore is more truthful than George Bush".
Hitch then challenges him with facts from article. Green calls him a 'right-wing apologist' and says Bush has gotten the world to turn agaist us.
...........ding! Times up, commercial. Much to quick.

Hitchens can be as nasty as they come, but what do you estimate the IQ point spread is between Hitchens and Moore, 50 - 60 points? I bet Baby Huey won't be seeking Hitchens out for debate anytime too soon.
To: DoctorMichael
Lordy, lord. I truly wonder where this seemingly endless supply of shallow-evidenced conspiracy pushers comes from. Moore looks like the fat kid that spent too much time in front of the TV.

Yeah. 50-60 points would be about right. Moore will follow in the footsteps of the Clintons and stay clear of any challenges.
For the common good he should move to France. Jerry Lewis can't live forever.

Hitchens BTT. The bloated, puffed-up, self-important balloon that is Michael Moore just got stuck, and Lord only knows what sort of gas will come out.
To: GVgirl
"If Michael Moore had had his way, Slobodan Milosevic would still be the big man in a starved and tyrannical Serbia. Bosnia and Kosovo would have been cleansed and annexed. If Michael Moore had been listened to, Afghanistan would still be under Taliban rule, and Kuwait would have remained part of Iraq. And Iraq itself would still be the personal property of a psychopathic crime family, bargaining covertly with the slave state of North Korea for WMD. You might hope that a retrospective awareness of this kind would induce a little modesty."
I am worried about the stench when this huge, pompous, gas-filled blimp explodes from his own pig trough of swill.

Speaking of Leni Riefenstahl, are there plans for Michael Moore to film the Democrat Convention in Boston?

A debate between Hitchens and Moore would be worth watching only in the sense a fight between a hungry tiger and a rabbit would be worth watching. What I'd pay real money to listen to or read would be Hitchens vs. Steyn.
