I'm going to try to keep this bumped. Wonder if the 'european journalists' is valid.
The 65% drop in attacks and coalition casualties the last 5 weeks, and increase in civilian kidnappings must mean.... they're on holidays?
Sh*t.
Scores of foreigners have been kidnapped since the bloody uprising in April, and many are still being held.Kim Chun Ho, the head of the Gana Trading Company, which employed Mr. Kim, has told the Yonhap news agency that several other foreign contractors were traveling in the same convoy with Mr. Kim and were also kidnapped.
He said those contractors were working for Kellogg, Brown & Root, a subsidiary of Halliburton and the largest private supplier to the American forces. The company said Tuesday that it could not confirm the kidnappings.
"must" mean nothing.
Don't get presumptive, I'm sure you don't have access to the same info that I do, and I know that what I see is only a portion of what goes on.
And you probably believed that the insurgents in Fallujah were observing a cease fire, didn't you? And that they were out of ammo because the supply lines were 'cut'.
I PROMISE you that you don't hear about all the US civilian casualties. Or at least I don't see them reported in the online news or posted on FR.
Heck, there is still enough arms and ammo here to go for years.
bump - keep us posted, and thanks....
