Somewhere a career politician is scheming...

But at least there are four career politicians in California whose schemes are coming to an end. They wanted to get term limits, but term limits got them. They wanted to ride forever on the gravy train, but the ride is over.

In California, we love term limits. Its a good way of putting politicians who've been around too long for their own good and the good of our state out to pasture. And no, we won't miss them.

Fortunately, I don't live in CA but I do envy you guys term limits. Here in MA referendums are regularly countermanded by the hottentots in our legislature.

In CA, our referndums are regularly countermanded by the Judicial System... where the Judges have no term limits (other than their lifespan).
