The one thing I noted in the old TV clip when he was confronted about Gennifer's claims of a 12 year affair ,and he denied it (weakly...probably parsing because it was only 11 years) Hillary was right there nodding her head in agreement and conviction, therefore lying easily...
I took it his explanation, when Dan suggested her support was astounding, is that she wanted the power to punish him but felt it not right for anyone else to. The look on her face is enough to chill ones bones. She was like a mother protecting her child..or like a Hawk protecting its kill....;)
