If someone does not agree with you or if they have another perspective because of experiences in which you have none - you attack out of ignorance. You turn the issue into something it is not and never was in order to fit your perception of the topic at hand. You would rather argue a point with viciousness than stop and listen and perhaps gain some insight and knowledge along the way. ... and that is truly a shame.
