I have heard Democrats say this for years. Does anyone know if there is any government follow-up regarding these assertions? I sure would like to see the cancelled checks for some of these, such as, the illegal payoffs to the Rodham boys in the Pardon Scandal or the $10,000 check from drug dealer Jorge Cabrera to the Clinton re-election effort. Just 'cause they say they will return the money don't make it so.

South Korean government officials told the AP that a top official in its Los Angeles consulate office returned home last month amid "speculation" he had engaged in Democratic politics...

I always am amused when the press - AP in this case - fails to mention that the South Korean diplomat who was recalled home was the station chief for the NIS (KCIA) in LA and earlier in Atlanta. Would one really think that he was privately assisting in fundraising efforts for the Kerry campaign? Or was he following orders from the Blue House to get Bush out so a friendlier US prez might be in the White House?
