This is a pretty interesting dilemma. If I had this type of windfall I'd probably donate some to the Church, but if I received this sort of hostility I might change my mind (as it seems that these guys might).

What absurdity, those guys donated $3200 when they bought the painting.
I did not see anything in the article that indicated they knew the painting had hidden value.
Then what about the family that donated the painting, it had been in their family for 100 years and they don't seem to have had it looked at and valued by an art appraiser.
Now all of these spoil sports think these guys should donate more of the windfall to the Church. I don't think so.
Those guys need to do whatever they would like with their shares of the money. The rest of these greedy folks can just stew in their juices and think what if.
