All spaceflight is risky, any expert will tell you. Maiden voyages can be particularly tricky, given all the unknowns. Even SpaceShipOne, a smooth-operating, trusty craft, had a mishap upon landing during a test flight last December.

Space Ping! This is the Space Ping List! Let me know if you want on or off this list!
Yes, I would!
Here, hold my beer.
I'm with you. It'd probably kill me, but I'd take the chance.
HEAVEN YES!
I know someone who is on the list for journalists to fly on it. He is a long time aviation journalist, and he is in pretty foul health, he has nothing to risk. I spoke with him last night, he is going to the launch Monday. Cool stuff!
He is on a list of journalists that would like to fly it, only one will be chosen, of course.
Heck, yeah! But only if I could bring my laptop and sit in the smoking section.

No.
Thanks,

Yes, and hell yes.
Does a bear ____ in the woods!
Heck no.. I would rather read bill clintons book "MY LIES" before I did it.
YES! Icing on the cake would be if I could get to log some P.I.C time in my logbook.
The Rutan brothers are to 21st century aviation, what the Wrights were to 20th century aviation, perhaps even more so, considering their list of accomplishments of the past 20 years.
I'll be watching this Monday and would love to be there, inside Space Ship One itself.
In Australia we have a term for something when its not real or phoney, we say its "Mickey Mouse"
Like Senator Kerry would be a "Mickey Mouse President"
well i showed the following photo to my 3 1/2 year old son and he said "look dad Mickey Mouse " Take a close look and you'll see him.
Im not saying its a Mickey Mouse space craft, I'll let you be the judge. Interesting though.
