Moqrin was a growing figure among terror leaders

RIYADH, Saudi Arabia -- Before he was slain Friday night by Saudi security forces, Abdulaziz al-Moqrin was an angry young man regarded as an up-and-coming figure in the world of international terrorism.

Moqrin, who grew up in Riyadh's Suweidi district, joined Jordan-born Abu Musab al-Zarqawi, whose terror cell was responsible for dozens of car bombings in Iraq, as the most visible new leaders of a terrorist movement that had become more diffuse since U.S.-led troops destroyed the Afghanistan base of Osama bin Laden's al-Qaida.

Moqrin, who was believed to have a longtime relationship with bin Laden, was driven by revenge and hatred for the United States and its Arab allies.

His death will be portrayed as a major blow to bin Laden by the kingdom's rulers, once chided by their U.S. allies as being soft on terrorism.

"This has been a big blow," Nawaf Obaid, a senior Saudi consultant with close links to the security establishment, told Reuters. "The senior leadership of this cell has been decimated and with that, the whole cell will collapse. He is the only leader remaining of this caliber."

According to Saudi officials, U.S. intelligence sources and profiles in the Arabic press, Moqrin began drifting into al-Qaida circles in his late teens and participated in camps and al-Qaida-linked operations in Afghanistan, Bosnia, Algeria, Somalia and Saudi Arabia.

He reportedly served two years in a Saudi prison, where he studied the Quran, the Islamic holy book.

He topped the list of Saudi Arabia's 26 most wanted fugitives and was the reputed architect of an aborted car bombing plot last year that intelligence sources said was planned against the Saudi royal family.

He also claimed responsibility for a terrorist attack last month in Khobar, a Persian Gulf oil hub, that left 22 dead.

And Medina, too.

Medina [Al Madinah, Yathrib] is the second most important holy city of Islam, containing the tomb of Muhammad. Noted for its mosque enclosing the tomb and its palaces and fountains, the city was the refuge of Muhammad after his flight from Mecca.

Considered to be the second most important holy city of Islam, the city of Medina is located in a well-watered oasis 110 miles (180 km) inland (east) of the Red Sea. Much fruit and some grain are raised in and around the city. The chief building is the large mosque, which contains the tombs of Mohammed, his daughter Fatima, and the Caliph Omar. When making the pilgrimage to the holy city of Mecca, usually a visit to Medina is part of the trip.

To say that the Muslim religion is "fastest growing" is puire BS. It is not.

Further, since the beheadings I have "had it" with Muslims. I am in my own private Jihad now, and it means if there is a Mulsim I avoid him, if I see a head scarf I fart on the way past, and if there is a Muslim running the shop or pumping the gas I do not buy there.

I want Muslims and their stinking religious faith out of my country, ASAP
