My brother originally was a McClintock fan. Then voted for Ahnold at the last moment. Last night he told me that ARNOLD is not only a GREAT Governor in the Ronald Reagan style, but he hopes that the laws change so that Arnold can be our next President in 4 years.
He is so very pleased with Arnold. For the first time in many years he has a lilt to his voice when talking about his governor.
How about that.. and they don't come much more conservative than my San Bernardino area brother and his family.
What a great testimonial.
It's a good feeling, not being ashamed of living in California.
This article is pure liberal spin. If Arnold speaks
at the convention, no one will be offended but
partisan Democrats -- who will be reminded of Gray Davis,
the recall, the fact that the California GOP is coming
back to life, and the fact that a "cool" mega-celebrity
is in our party, not theirs.
The real question is whether he'll campaign for the president outside California. He should. The idea that his greater celebrity wattage would make Bush look bad is ridiculous.
Thanks so much for telling me about him, my family out there is very pleased with Arnold, too! They felt more in tune with McClintock's position on the issues but knew he'd never win the recall. They are thrilled with what Arnold has accomplished for California :-)
Thanks for sharing.
I am glad to hear that some conservatives judge Arnold by his actions, which have been pretty good and pretty conservative so far and I am sure it will continue to be that way.
When I think of Arnold and the uncompromising "so-called coanservatives" what it think of, is the saying:
"It's better to light a candle, than curse the darkness".
Arnold is lighting candles one at a time. The "so-called conservatives" prefer to do nothing, but sit there and curse the darkness and complain that there is no light, but every time someone wants to light a candle, they curse that person too.
