Of course they knew where he was. I have a feeling they felt serious pressure from a very pissed off President to actually do something about it. I don't know that I've ever heard W. sound as POed as he did today when he gave his comment on the murder. You could hear it in his tone. Very, very angry.
I guess I'm one of those instant-grat gen-Xers who expect air strikes whenever the the US is offended.
