Isn't ACT UP a homosexual group? Or, am I thinking of PACKED UP?

Wasn't it that other famous candidate of scream fame who said we have to stop talking about guns, gays, and g-d?
Kerry is simply incapable of discussing any issue other than how terrible things are in America.

I was thinking the same thing; ACT-UP is a radical homosexual group. That makes me doubt the autheticity of this story.

If this is the kind of Catholic Kerry is listening to, hes in deep trouble. He's in deep something.

Why should he avoid religious issues? Can't he just flip flop there like everywhere else? "I was a Christian before I was an Atheist", sort of routine.

The larger issue remains: the Kerry campaign is treating religion the way a sick kid treats lousy-tasting medicineas something that simply must be swallowed. Why is it that this Catholic senator has no problem with gay speechhe knows how to talk the talk with transgendered typesbut stutters every time he engages in religion speech? Are people of faith so distant from him as to be virtual pariahs? To top it off, Kerry is now taking advice from the discredited priest, Father Robert Drinan. Drinan, who says he is part of Kerrys kitchen Cabinet on religious matters, was forced in 1997 to retract an outrageous New York Times op-ed column he wrote the year before supporting President Clintons veto of a ban on partial- birth abortion. If this is the kind of Catholic Kerry is listening to, hes in deep trouble.

Hooray for Donohue for putting this information out there too.

I guess the only thing left for him to talk about is Vietnam. Good thing he hasn't done much of that, yet. ;-)

When I saw the headline, I was about to bring Drinan into this discussion, but Bill Donahue already has.
Donahue has a real gift for putting the anticatholic bigots in their place.

I haven't been as excited about Mr. Donohue since he started supporting civil unions.
