Boot, I'm always open to possibilities. Do you have information in support of some kind of PRC-AQ ties?

Yes, PRC supported Muslim fundamentalists in Afghanistan; weapon and ammo for the guerrilla against the Soviet Union came from China; the payment came from Pakistan, Saudi and the US. Back during the cold war SU was the big threat and the enemy of my enemy was my friend.

After the break down of the evil empire many Muslim fundamentalists went back home to "do a Taliban" and China felt the rage of their Muslim fundamentalists. After 9/11 PRC is an active partner in the War against Terrorism (although they want to include many other groups in their definition of terrorists, such as Falun gong)

It is not likely that PRC is supporting aQ.
