Ummah to side with Iran in case of US-Israel attack: Pak official Islamabad, March 10, IRNA

An official of Pakistan's North West Frontier Province government said on Friday that in case of any action against Iran, entire Muslim Ummah would side with the Islamic Republic.
In an interview with IRNA here, Maulana Ramzan Tauqir, who is advisor to NWFP Chief Minister Akram Khan Durrani, flayed the US and its allies for propagating against Iran's peaceful nuclear programme.
"The aim of US and Israeli threat to Iran is to deviate the attention of the international community from anti-cartoon issue," he pointed out.
He expressed concern over the silence of Muslim countries over the US-Israeli threats to the Islamic Republic.
"Any eventuality will not only endanger Israel but also other European countries," he warned.
The expert said that history bore testimony to the fact that Iran always defeated invaders. He added US and Israel would face embarrassment if tried to invade the Islamic Republic.
