first off, no need to get snippy, secondly, I'm only talking about nancy and rwr's children, my bad on maureen, not being one of theirs....however I NEVER said rpr was the eldest child, just the oldest son of rwr and nancy, we can agree to disagree. there is nothing wrong with that. i was not replying to you out of hostility, anger or superiority, but your last post was a little mean. I will take that as a hint and bid you good night as well. I am sorry that you got so upset, and so bored.

I NEVER said rpr was the eldest child, just the oldest son of rwr and nancy It is incorrect grammer to use the superlative degree of comparison when a set contains less than three members. Since Ronald and Nancy Reagan only had two children, it would be incorrect to say Patti is the oldest or Ronald Prescott is the oldest son, etc. Patti is the older, and Ronald Prescott is the younger.
