"In an April 2003 interview, Reagan was scathingly critical of Bush. "The Bush people have no right to speak for my father, particularly because of the position he's in now," he said. "Yes, some of the current policies are an extension of the '80s. But the overall thrust of this administration is not my father's - these people are overly reaching, overly aggressive, overly secretive, and just plain corrupt. I don't trust these people."

He's right to a point. Who better to know the father than the son?
Besides, who could measure up to Reagan? Certainly not Bush.
Pres. Bush is the son of a president. Ron Reagan is the son of a president. Is the theory busted? The fruit now falls far and away from the tree?
Perhaps unlike Pres. Bush 2, Ron needs a dna test to confirm he is the actual son of Pres. Reagan. Course to me, Pres. Reagan could have spit him. O yea, he looks that much like him.
I'll say this, I believe Pres. Reagans blood would boil considering the "compromises" republicans (republicans he made possible) have made to satisfy the thirst of democrats.
Do you even have a clue what kind of "Republican" Ronald Reagan was? Taxes? Deficits? Compromises?
Let's be clear here. Little Ron and Patti did not get along with their parents because they (kids) are leftist liberals. Patti has said in the past that she disagreed with everything her father stood for. Nuff said!
