You don't have to release yours until you run for president. That is not a violation of privacy. If you don't want to release them or release tax returns, don't run for president. That's fine.

Didn't Clinton sign the HIPAA? I think that stands for Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act, or something like that...but medical privacy is a big part of it.

Anyway, in my nursing practice, at least in my state, NO nurse can release ANY information without written permission FROM THE PATIENT.

I'm going to go look and see what that stands for, again, just to satisfy myself.

Yep, 1996, Clinton signed it.

And that's the one with the privacy provisions. This is a big deal, frankly.

This isn't about him releasing records. This is a writer acting like the nurse's statement is somehow damning, when it's not. If she told a reporter about ANYONE'S medical records she'd get fired.
