So you think the only people who could possibly care about the human rights of EVEN illegal immigrants must ONLY reside on DU?

Picking up people, who are in this country illegally and deporting them back to where they belong (be it Mexico or England) is NOT a human rights abuse. The corrupt leaders and governments who 'export' their unemployment ARE abusers. Talk to them and see how far you get.
I think you and those at DU would make the assumption that the border patrol agents do nothing but torture illegals they pick up --- torture them, half kill them before they dump their almost lifeless bodies back to their side of the border.
That's not even close to what goes on --- you can go down to the border and see for yourself -- when the migra has collected up enough, they take them to the gate in the fence and all that happens is they walk back over the bridge -- back home. There are taxis and buses if they don't feel like walking. No one on either side observing the illegals being sent back home bats an eye and you can hardly tell whose coming back from a USA shopping trip and who is being sent back.
And, if you mean by 'mainstream Republican', someone who will turn a blind eye to the danger of unchecked, illegal immigration, you're right, that's not me. I may be from Az., but Senator McCain is Republican in name only - and a blight on the GOP.
If a white or black American ignores Mexico's rules for immigrating to Mexico or visiting that country --- decides not to get a passport of apply for a tourist card as required by the Mexican government, does that American have the right to stay? If the Mexican government deports that American has it violated his rights? If the American is politely driven to the border to a border town and allowed to walk over the bridge back in to the USA, has that American been tortured or abused?
If its so damn bad in this country for these criminals, why the hell do they come here?
