You know, it would be interesting to see the reaction of all those separate "communities" that populate the Dem party if Kerry went to the GOP to get Hagel. He might have been able to get away with McCain due to his media-drive celebrity status. But Hagel? That would be a hoot!

All this VP talk is a waste of time and space.

Kerry will pick someone for whom there is a political logic. The Dems and their brainwashed followers among the nominal "independents" and "Republicans" will swallow that choice no matter what. Bush is stuck with Cheney -- a good man and a good veep, but of absolutely no help politically. Kerry's choice, whenever it's made, will give him a bump.

The election will come down to the choice between Bush and not-Bush. The media are too powerful and too blatantly against us to permit a thorough education about Kerry. All Republican workers -- and I hope everyone reading this site who is under, say, 65 years old, is not only volunteering but WALKING A PRECINCT for Bush -- must promote the president, not just slam Kerry.

Bad as Kerry is, people will rationalize a vote for him unless they have some confidence in Bush.
