Agree and they bring their bias with them as they interpret what they believe they heard. This is our justice system at work and we should be privy to see it all and not have cameras banned because of a Judge's whim.
Dev I have this grotesque picture in my head of a drugged up, wrapped up Laci who eventually has her head hung over the water and then shot!! I don't know WHY I have that visual, but I do.
I very much would like to see that Juror BUMPED and a little seriousness introduced into this trial. Judge Delucchi may well realize after hearing Sharon Rocha's comment and then the Juror's apparent lack of adherence to rules, that things are getting out of hand. As far as the talking heads go, I saw them "create" a nightmare for the Prosecutors in the OJ case resulting in one of the worst travesties I have ever seen, and I prefer at this point, to listen to none of them. I actually am tempted to start emailing complaints to the stations. Sean Hannity is really p*ssing me off.
As it is, even Hannity & Colmes are now agreeing with defense attorneys that there is not enough evidence to convict. These two were practically hanging Snot a few months ago.
I think the whole media is doing that maybe because they all convicted him when this was going on until Laci was found ..and are now trying to keep us hanging on to their every word...remember we are at their mercy for the reporting from the courtroom
Too horrible to contemplate! (But then, what with seeing pictures of innocent people with their heads cut off by subhumans, it's almost like the world of news is a surreal nightmare.)
Another thing that's horrible is that maybe he drugged her and DIDN'T kill her before putting her in the water to drown. If that's what happened, I pray that she never recovered consciousness.
Well, I haven't heard anymore since all the news media have been concentrating on Paul Johnson.
He will probably get out of this and we might not hear anymore about it. I will keep my ears open.
Obviously since there has been no trial of Jackson or of Geragos, it has not yet been "confirmed". However, certainly Geragos' baldfaced intimidation of witnesses is there for all to see--it was done on videotape, with news cameras rolling, and was played all over TV. He stated to potential witnesses that they would "come down on them like a ton of bricks". (paraphrase)
In some states, that sort of obvious intimidation of witnesses would, at the minimum, get him a bar complaint. But then--just guessing here--I have a feeling he is no stranger to bar complaints anyway. Certainly the Jackson family appears to have had enough of him.
Dear William,...We are not on a jury.
Innocent until proven guilty is for the jury, a legal requirement in court but not on a discussion thread.....No one here could possibly serve on the Peterson jury.
The jury's requirements are that they must be convinced by the evidence the prosecuters present in court beyond a reasonable doubt...There are no such restrictions on a discussion forum...legally or ethically.
If it offends you... sorry. Perhaps you may find other threads more to your liking.
I'll be you a quarter the same bents of mind are found among the real jury pool, for the very posters on this thread can be part of a jury pool at any time, if they are citizens and have a driver's license.
I'm done...Bye
Please don't freepmail me, have the guts to post publicly your reply!
I would think they would have found blood on the side in or around the boat.
My guess is asphixiation pehaps a plastic bag over her head.
Most jurors at least in Oregon are summoned because they are registered voters.
That may be. I though that of Alabama until I was shown that it based on driver's license rolls. For states that pull their jury pool from registered voters, add to my statement, "or are registered to vote".
Good morning everyone-just checking in.
Morning sis...I've been checking around for any news on the Juror #5 thing. I wonder if the Judge is going to boot him today? I don't imagine there would be any more testimony until that is resolved.
Peterson trial is going to be the focus on LKL tonight, and Court TV updates through the day.
