1.) In 1983, Pat Buchanan criticized the US government for expressing regret over its postwar protection of Nazi Klaus Barbie.

2.) In 1985 Buchanan advocated restoring citizenship of Arthur Rudolph, an ex-Nazi rocket scientist

3.) In 1987 Buchanan lobbied to stop deportation of Karl Linnas, convicted of Nazi atrocities in Estonia.

You just can't grab anyone off the streets and convict them in the press. Didn't Israel throw out some cases brought before it?

It surprises me how many Eastern Europeans are hounded for the Holocaust versus Germans who directed and made it all happen.
