Well, do YOU have a statistic indicating arson represents a sizeable part of the incidents ? Because me, I don't.
What I know is that arson cases are almost-automatically covered by the media, and over the next 12 months I only remember two cases : one of a school, the other a synagogue. Let's suppose there were three times as many cases as I've seen, that means we talk about 6 to 10 arson cases. Since 183 antisemitic acts have been monitored, we're talking 3 to 6% of the total cases. Which is still rather rare, as a percentile.

As a 'percentage' of incidents, you would have define percentage of which incidents. The vast majority of 'incidents' are verbal. As a percentage of violent incidents, I would suggest arson is much more prevalent. While this is from an older period (specifically, October, 2000 in the Paris metro area) but :5) Sensitive period - October 2000 For 1-25 October, we can point to 50 and 80 acts of aggression in Paris and the Paris area respectively. The first set of indicators shows the breakdown of acts of violence committed over this period: Type % Arson 6 12 Molotov cocktails 18 36 Physical attack 7 14 Objects thrown 12 24 Attempted arson 1 2 Vandalism 6 12 Total 50 From the Wiesenthal Center in Paris document entitled 'Principal Antisemitic Attacks in France' It is a PDF, so I can't direct link. A google search will turn it up easily. 25 out of 50 violent attacks were arson related. (I think the distinction between molotov cocktails and arson is a very subtle one). I would suggest that arson is much more prevalent than the 3% of 'incidents' suggests.

Interesting stats, thanks...
So, if we only take these 50 violent attacks, arson is the prefered method of aggression in 50% of the cases. If we take the whole 183 incidents, arson represents 14% of the cases.
More than I thought in any case.
