Lighten up, Francis.
I don't give a rat's ass about the bear's safety or well-being. My point is that those flimsy hospital walls are filled with things that don't react well to bullets. Furthermore, the article says nothing about the bear being "enraged", going "berserk" or trying to break out of the room and kill someone's sick grandmother. He might've just been in there raiding the IT guy's pick-a-nick basket.
I'm delighted that the threat was removed with relative ease, and I'm also very happy that the police did not accidentally cause a far greater catastrophe.
You have a point, actually - shooting the bugger in a computer room isn't much of a problem - I do it all the time to users who forget their passwords - but discharging a firearm in a room with oxygen flowing is potentially a rather large problem for the occupants.
OK OK. Calm down. take a deep breath and count to 10. I understand what you are saying and I was just giving a what if scenerio to counter the don't do it. I agree, if I were to list the best places to use a firearm, a hospital would not rank very high on the list.
I don't answer to Francis!!! Call me Psycho.
