Oh, that is a really good recipe for meatloaf. The Southern glaze sounds good. We have always used ketchup and brown sugar, but the apple cider sounds like a good touch.

The general's son was an Army Ranger officer who was killed in a training exercise here in the US. He was very proud of him and had shown his picture with his son before this happened.
