Sometimes, it is easier if we remember that what we swore to defend is a document, rather than the not-always sane people that the document refers to.

Defending the Constitution is a privilege instead of the chore it becomes when we recognize that not every American is worth defending. When someone in the Armed Services dies, either in combat or some stupid training accident, this is what I remind myself in order to not go nuts on somebody.

If we ever get to the point where we are defending just people, rather than the ideals that formed this nation, we are in trouble. Had I ever sat in my jet thinking that I was risking my neck for Hillary Clinton, I think I might have hopped out a few times, rather than blue water ops in the middle of the night.

Its the document, dude. That's what makes it worth it.

Don't count on it. Afghanistan was ruled by people like this, but the Left still thought it was a "war crime" to overthrow them.

The Left loves America-haters of all kinds, even those who want to kill the Leftists. Rationality has never been their strong suit.
